Prices for Websites & SEO

I make cost effective, affordable websites. I maintain a limit on the number of clients I look after, to ensure they get the level of service I'd expect myself.

If you want cheap and cheerful, that's not me...

Your website is the public face of your business, and where new customers will most likely first engage with you. Therefore, it needs to be easy to find, simple to use, and give the visitor all the information they need to make a decision. Above all, it needs to look professional.

Creating a high quality website takes time. If all you want is something knocked together quickly that 'does the job' then we're probably not the best fit. I'm not the cheapest but with me, you get quality work from a professional and proper customer service. I know what good looks like, and I'll be able to explain the why's and wherefore's when there's a decision to be made.

My approach to pricing

I want to know as much as possible about what you want, what you're trying to achieve and what you expect. I ask lots of questions so I can get a rich picture of what you want and also to spot any potential pitfalls early doors. Once I understand what you're after, I'll work out a price and explain what's included. It kinda works like this:

Subscription based pricing

Many of my longer term customers (e.g., > 10 years) prefer a monthly subscription to cover updates, maintenance, hosting etc. Basically this gives them peace of mind that their website is being looked after by a professional. Again, the price depends on what you want so if you think this is something you might need, let's chat. I'll do all the changes, updates and maintenance, so there's nothing for you to do.

Do your own research

If you're in the market for a website speak to a few developers. You can tell whether they know what they're talking about after a few minutes. Ask about their experience, what type of things you should think about, what could go wrong, and what the art of the possible might be.

Go and look at some of their work. Check for typos, quality and get a feel for whether it's a quality job or not.

Want to work with me?

I know what it takes to set up and run effective online presence. I make, manage and optimise websites for local businesses; my web design services include everything necessary to get an online presence to be proud of.

You might think that if you work with a smaller web design services firm you won’t get the quality or service you’d naturally associate with a bigger agency. That’s not the case. I don’t have the overheads of a large agency and if you’re doing a project with me, you know it’s me working on it and not the latest intern or some guy who used to fit kitchens for a living.
